Delivery

Handpicked Love will deliver to any address in the United Kingdom and a range of countries worldwide! All Handpicked Love jewellery is dispatched in a beautiful Handpicked Love box and complementary pouch, or in the designer’s own branded packaging, but NOT gift-wrapped. This allows the purchaser to check the items before presenting them as a gift, whilst still coming nicely presented without the need to wrap on receipt.

 

Here you'll find all the information you'll need about how we post, ship and deliver our parcels. Our normal delivery schedule is 3-5 working days of your payment being received, but we aim to deliver much sooner. Unfortunately, delays can occur owing to circumstances outside of our control (for example, Postal Strikes) and therefore, we incur no liability for delays or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales. DELIVERY WITHIN THE UK

 

Prices for postage and packaging within the UK, for all orders you can choose between two options at our checkout:

 

UK 1st Class Delivery £3.95

Your order will be delivered via Royal Mail 1st Class delivery. Deliveries will usually be made within 4 days after you place your order (excluding Weekends). e.g. If you order on Wednesday your goods will be delivered by the following Tuesday. This is a non-trackable service.

 

UK Next Day Special Delivery £7.45

This is a trackable service. Your order will be delivered via Royal Mail Special Delivery. If you order by 1pm you will receive your goods before 1pm the next working day. A signature will be required upon receipt. If you are not around to take delivery of your parcel, a delivery card will be left and your parcel will be taken to your local sorting office for collection. Please tick this option at the checkout if you wish to have your order delivered this way.
 

Please Note: At extremely busy times such as Christmas and Easter please allow a little extra time for delivery.

 

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

 

Deliveries will usually be made in 3-7 working days after you place your order (excluding weekends) depending on your location, e.g. if you order on Monday your goods will be delivered by the following Wednesday.

Delivery to Europe - £7.95

This is a trackable service.
Your order will be delivered via International Signed For™ delivery and will require a signature upon delivery.

 

Delivery to Rest of the World - £9.95

This is a trackable service.
Your order will be delivered via International Signed For™ delivery and will require a signature upon delivery.

 

Please Note: Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. The recipient of the parcel must pay these charges. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.

 

Please Note: If you require your order sooner than this, please get in touch at: info@handpickedlove.co.uk with the subject “Express Delivery” and we will be happy to quote you a price for express delivery.

 

FREE SHIPPING/DELIVERY

 

Any order over £70 (UK), £100 (Europe), £200 (the rest of the world),  will sent by 1st Class Recorded Delivery or International Signed For™ free of charge on postage and packaging.

 

Please Note: Signature is required for this.

 

DELIVERY FEE REFUNDS

 

If you are returning the item(s) because of an error on our part, we will be happy to refund the shipping/delivery charges. Otherwise you will be responsible for those charges.

 

NON-DELIVERY

 

In the event of non-delivery due to no one being available to sign for the item the post office will contact you to arrange re-delivery or you will be able to collect from your local sorting office.  If delivery is still not possible the shipment will be returned to us.  In such cases we will only re-send your shipment on request but an additional shipping charge.  This is to cover our cost for two deliveries.  

 

If you subsequently cancel the order then re-delivery is not possible, the original delivery charge will be non-refundable. We will not accept responsibility for lost or late delivery of orders or consequential damages in any circumstances.  In all cases any liability on our part will be limited to the value of the order placed. Please note that we reserve the right not to deliver an order if we believe the address is not secure, for example to a communal postal address or PO box. If this affects an order you place, we'll notify you as soon as possible.

 

MADE TO ORDER ITEMS

 

If you have ordered an item that we do not normally stock or requested specific size ring, it can take up to 6 weeks. We will ask you to pay for the item before we place the order with our suppliers. Once you have paid for the item(s), we will place the order with our suppliers, you then will be notified of the estimated delivery time for your order and we will send it to you the next working day as soon as it has arrived with us.

 

Please Note: Special ordered item(s) and item(s), which are made to order cannot be returned or exchanged.

 

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

 

Our website is updated on a 24 hour basis and it is possible that an item may have gone out of stock during the day you place the order or an item may become temporarily unavailable after we receive your order.  If so we will contact you by email with details of the likely delivery time. You will of course be at liberty to cancel your order at that time if you desire.

 

If an order contains some items that are in stock and some are not we will usually delay the shipment until all items are available. We will contact you to ask if you would like to wait for the item(s) to become available or would prefer us to cancel part of all of your order.  If you wish us to send the order in more than one delivery please notify us ASAP by email. If we cannot contact you on the day that we would post your order, we will assume that you would like us to send the items that are in stock and are happy to wait for the other item(s) to become available.
You will be notified by email when your order has been sent.

 

Outstanding items will then follow on as soon as they become available and you will not incur any additional postage costs. Please note that payment is taken for the whole order before any is dispatched.
Unfortunately, manufacturers do sometimes discontinue lines with no advance warning. We have no control over this, but will let you know if we are no longer able to fulfil an order.
